聽到 LinkinPark 聯合公園 主唱查斯特上吊身亡 的消息真的很難以置信...2000年時 LinkinPark 發行「混合理論」專輯一炮而紅，2007年中山足球場的那場演唱會我腦門大開，這是他們來台灣的第一場演唱會，也是許多人心目中的永恆經典。

舞台上，查斯特是那樣充滿魅力，沒有特別關注的話你可能很難想像他在小時候曾經遭遇男子的性侵暴力，怕被取笑而隱忍六年，這陰影長期摧毀著他的自信心，導致他一直有輕生念頭，多年來用藥物和酒精麻醉自己。
 

就在兩個月前，查斯特的好朋友 — 搖滾樂團「聲音花園」（Soundgarden）主唱克里斯康奈爾（Chris Cornell）也因上吊自殺身亡…


當時查斯特曾在推特發文悼念：「你有很多部分激發了我的靈感，我沒有辦法想像這個世界沒有你，祈求你在下一個人生得到安寧⋯⋯。」

他曾唱過好友克里斯的名曲《Hunger Strike》


克里斯也回敬一曲聯合公園的《Crawling》



兩人在音樂之路惺惺相惜，最後他更在喪禮中獻唱《哈雷路亞》，送好友最後一程

而查斯特自殺的這天 — 7月20日，正是康奈爾的生日…
被苦毒的靈魂.R.I.P.
